Hindsight Custom Laser Engraving and Design is a small Wisconsin shop built around laser engraved wood products and hand carved woodwork. Every order is cut, engraved, sanded and finished in house, which means your piece is made by the same hands that designed it.
Custom work is the heart of the shop. Send over a name, a date, a logo or an inside joke and it can be engraved onto bottle openers, plaques, signs and gifts. Carved work goes a step further, with cigar boxes and tiki heads shaped by hand from solid hardwood.
The lineup also includes custom and premade t-shirt designs, and alongside our business partner we make funny wood signs and handmade bracelets. One shop, a wide range of craft, and no two pieces exactly alike.

“I started laser engraving in 2026 and fell in love with it.”
My name is Jere Meddaugh and I have been doing hand crafted custom engraving for 20+ years. Working with wood taught me patience, and the laser gave me a whole new level of precision and endless artistic possibilities.
When I am not creating art I am either riding my motorcycle or fishing. I recently started kayaking to stay in shape. I love creating art and customizing everything I own, and I hope to customize something amazing for you too.
